MEET TINA
TINA SONG - ACUPUNCTURIST & CHINESE MEDICINE PRACTITIONER
Tina Song established Acupuncture Bunbury in 2019. Since 2002 she has been cultivating her skills and refining the delicate practice of Oriental Medicine. She spent four years completing her degree at the University of Technology Sydney. She continued her training with an internship at the China Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing and has also completed one year post graduate studies in Japanese acupuncture.
She continues to expand on her skills through regular seminars and research. In 2008 whilst practicing at The Acupuncture IVF Support Clinic in Sydney she was involved in IVF research being led by Dr Caroline Smith at The University Of Western Sydney. In 2013 Tina was involved in research relating to the use of acupuncture in menopause being run by Dr Carolyn Eu at The University of Melbourne.
Tina is committed to educating and motivating her clients to restore health and achieve their goals, making the process enjoyable and enlightening. She uses many Japanese acupuncture techniques, the gentlest kind of acupuncture. It is especially suitable for sensitive patients. She has completed a one year post graduate course in Japanese acupuncture strategies including Manaka Protocols.
Tina focuses her clinical practice on acupuncture for pregnancy, fertility and IVF support. She also focuses on women's health, particularly cases of PCOS, menstrual problems and menopause in which she has gained valuable experience. Tina has effectively resolved many cases of muscular and joint pain such as back pain, neck and shoulder pain and also headaches and migraine. In clinic she regularly uses acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, gua sha (spooning) and Chinese herbal medicine in combination which is can aid managing a a vast number of health problems including chronic pain.

ACUPUNCTURE
Integral to our practice, acupuncture may help to relieve symptoms of pain, fatigue and stress. Combining acupuncture with other techniques to strengthen and regulate your whole system.
We use gentle techniques and only sterile single-use needles. We integrate many Japanese Acupuncture techniques perfect for needle sensitive patients. Most people find our sessions very relaxing and a great way to manage and maintain health.
FERTILITY & PREGNANCY
Many practitioners recommend acupuncture during IVF, IUI and ICSI. With a strong focus and interest in fertility acupuncture in our Bunbury acupuncture clinic we have seen many patients needing help.

CHINESE HERBAL MEDICINE, MOXIBUSTION, GUA SHA & CUPPING
At Acupuncture Bunbury we are hands on and often use a range of other techniques to complement our acupuncture. We dispense Chinese herbs tailor made for you - capsules, liquids and granulated herbs. You can choose the option best suited to you.
Moxibustion is a gentle warming technique used in some treatments. Gua Sha (or 'spooning') and cupping are tools used to release soft tissue to reduce pain and stiffness in muscles and joints. We often include some massage into our sessions which our patients love!
